What is Learning Curves?

Doctors Jeffrey S. Slocum and Rok A. Morin introduce an innovative program, Learning Curves, that teaches elementary students about health, wellness, disease prevention, and injury prevention.

Learning Curves is a professionally-developed,instructor-friendly curriculum specifically designed for chiropractors to teach third, fourth, and fifth graders about maintaining a healthy spine. The curriculum addresses the topics of:

  • spinal health
  • proper posture
  • backpack safety
  • scoliosis screening
  • spinal maintenance

Using a variety of dynamic instructional approaches and attractive graphics, Learning Curves informs chiropractors about the cognitive and social development of children ages seven to eleven and provides them with the tools to effectively teach and empower students to make healthy lifestyle choices.

Students who participate in your Learning Curves lessons now will later become independent healthcare consumers and will know the truth about chiropractic, not just what they heard from an uncle’s cousin’s brother-in-law!

Rules of Participation

Each Learning Curves doctor will be registered to work with a specific school or specific schools. Only one Learning Curves doctor will be registered per school. Registration is for one school year with the right to renew for the next school year. Renewal is due on or before August 15 of the upcoming school year.

The number of individual licenses may be limited at the discretion of Learning Curves administrators. If you implement Learning Curves in your community and choose to renew, you will be entitled to first right of refusal to re-register annually. If you decide to discontinue as a Learning Curves registered doctor, Learning Curves will exercise its right to market the program to another chiropractor in your area.
